Alexis Muzurakis
He was born in Athens and he began his musical education at a very early age with Dimitris Condoyiannis. He continued his studies with Costas Cotsiolis at the High Conservatory of Athens. After that he studied in Madrid at the Royal High Conservatory with Miguel Ángel Jiménez. He made postgraduate studies at the Royal High Conservatory of The Hague with Zoran Dukic, with Carlo Marchione at the High Conservatory “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” in Leipzig and in Berlin with Eugenia Kanthou at the High Conservatory “Hanns Eisler”.
He followed Master Classes with:
David Russell, Sergio y Odair Assad, Manuel Barrueco, Hopkinson Smith, Joaquí Clerch…
He has won scholarships of the following foundations:
Onassis Foundation (Greece) and the NaFöG (Germany).
He has won the following competitions:
-Greece 1992, First Prize at the International Guitar Competition of Volos
- Greece 1989, First Prize at the National Young Musicians Competition
He has given concerts in:
Bulgaria, Greece, Mexico, Spain and Turkey.
